Catherine Lewis, LCSW, is a faculty member of the Ackerman Institute for the Family and a member of Ackerman's Making Families Safe for Children Project. She has worked extensively with families involved with the foster care system and was a member of the Ackerman Foster Care project for several years. She is currently the Director of Clinical Services at The New York Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children.

Ms. Lewis maintains a private practice in New York City, working with families, couples, and children.
