A Complex Approach to the Systemic Therapist: The Crisol Model
This workshop will immerse you in the clinical model developed by the internationally renowned team of the Crisol Postgraduate Center for Family and Couple Therapy in Mexico. The Crisol Institute is one of the leading systemic training and service providers with Mexican families, couples and individuals since 1989. The Crisol epigenetic model aroused from multiple epistemological theories and considers the therapist as a scientist, a theorist, a humanist and an artist. The workshop will illustrate how to work with dilemmas emerging from personal, clinical or supervisory roles.

Javier Vicencio, MD, is the General Director of CRISOL Postgraduate Training Center in Family Therapy in Mexico. He is a Professor of Family Therapy at multiples Universities in Mexico and South America and long term member of IFTA and AFTA. He has published more than 25 publications nationally and worldwide, including the 2011 book “¡Ay como me duele quererte!. Mapas del Amor y de la Terapia de Pareja”. He maintains a private practice in Cuernavaca and Mexico City since 1980.
Judith Gomez de Leon, MFT has a degree in psychology (UNAM), a Masters in Family Therapy and is a senior faculty in family and couple therapy at the CRISOL Post-Graduate Institute. Ms Leon is and international lecturer in Peru, Chile, Italy and Brazil. She maintains a private practice in Cuernavaca and Mexico City since 1983.
Flora Auron Zaltzman, PhD holds a post-graduate degree in group, family and couple therapy from AMPAG and UNAG. She is an Adjunct Faculty at CRISOL. She is an international lecturer in Italy and the US and a long term member of AFTA and IFTA. She maintains a private practice in Mexico City since 1974.
