The Ackerman Institute for the Family welcomes new and returning students this week as we enter the 2016-2017 school year.
Students joined Ackerman faculty and staff members to celebrate the occasion at our annual Welcome Party hosted in the Institute’s Carol Maslow Conference Room. Following a welcome address from President and CEO, Lois Braverman, Director of Training, Lisa Lavelle, and Dean of Admissions, Walter Vega, new and familiar colleagues mingled with refreshments and acquainted with one another over an intimate sharing circle discussion. Guests enjoyed guided tours of the Ackerman building in advance of the upcoming training year.
