Keren Ludwig, LCSW

Keren Ludwig graduated from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College with a concentration in social group work. She has experience working in community-based agencies serving children and families involved in the foster care system, managing life-threatening illnesses, and navigating various forms of trauma.

Keren is a graduate of Ackerman’s Clinical Externship Program, and has been a faculty member since 2010. At Ackerman, she teaches in the core curriculum, works with visiting international students, and provides consultation and training to community-based agencies. She was a member of the Institute’s Children and Relational Trauma Project for six years, and is a current member of the Multi-Racial Family Project. She has presented on her clinical work nationally.

Keren is an editorial board member of the journal Social Work with Groups, where she has published extensively. She also teaches at the Columbia University School of Social Work and consults to the DREAM Charter School in East Harlem. Keren maintains a private practice in Brooklyn and Manhattan where she works directly with couples, families, and individuals, and provides clinical supervision to professionals.
