Ana Ibarra Olivo

Outreach Coordinator

Ana Ibarra Olivo, LMSW (she/her/hers) is the Outreach Coordinator at the Ackerman Institute for the Family. She holds a Master’s in Social Work from New York University’s Silver School of Social Work and is a graduate of Ackerman’s Social Work and Diversity Program. Ana is also licensed as a clinical psychologist in Mexico, where she grew up.

As Outreach Coordinator, Ana facilitates the process for diverse families to access therapeutic services. Prior to Ackerman, she provided Spanish-English bilingual therapy to multicultural children and their families in Boston and New York public schools.

As an immigrant, Ana is committed to helping multicultural and diverse families to navigate the mental health system. She works to improve access and reduce the barriers that those families may face through culturally sensitive and anti-oppressive approaches.
