Intake Intern
Sandra Chen (they/she) is an intern supporting the Ackerman Institute’s Intake Department. They are a first year MSW candidate at Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College. They are a first-generation college graduate with a BA in Anthropology from Mount Holyoke College and over ten years of experience working in nonprofits, grassroots organizing, and social justice spaces. Sandra’s work continues to be guided by a commitment to build power in working-class queer and trans communities of color.
