Rebecca Ross, LCSW
Rebecca Ross, LCSW, is a Clinical Associate of the Gender & Family Project and faculty member at the Ackerman Institute for the Family. She has presented nationally on providing affirmative clinical services for families of gender nonconforming and transgender children and adolescents. She is a graduate of the Ackerman Institute for the Family, the Institute for Dialogic Practice and Smith College School for Social Work. Rebecca has a history working in community mental health in the New York City area and currently maintains a private practice in New York, NY working with families, couples and children.
In addition to her training in family & couples therapy, she has a broad range of expertise working with people struggling with depression, mood instability, psychosis, grief, loss, trauma and issues pertaining to gender and sexuality. She also has an interest in working with people in blended families and alternative couple or family structures.
