In every workplace, people carry the weight of constant change, competing expectations, and unseen emotional labor. This 90-minute workshop invites participants to slow down, notice what’s happening beneath the surface, and reconnect with a shared vision and the wisdom they already embody. Together, we’ll explore how trauma shows up in our work—individually, in our relationships, and across organizational systems—and how those patterns quietly shape stress, communication, and performance.

Participants will learn what trauma stewardship really means: not heroics, not over-functioning, but a sustainable way of engaging with challenging work while staying grounded, connected, and well. Through guided reflection and practical tools, we’ll examine our own trauma exposure responses and practice strategies that help us manage the impact of the work without losing ourselves or each other. Participants will leave with actionable practices they can use personally and in teams, as well as system-level approaches that support healthier, more humane workplace policies and procedures.

Learning Objectives:

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Assess workplace trauma exposure responses
  • Define trauma stewardship
  • Identify and implement specific practices for managing the impact of work individually, relationally, and organizationally

Who Should Attend:

Mental health professionals, supervisors, organizational leaders, and helping professionals in any setting who want trauma-informed, sustainable strategies for managing workplace stress, supporting team well-being, and fostering healthier organizational cultures.
