The Ackerman Institute for the Family celebrates the histories, cultures, and contributions of those who have a connection to Central and South America, the Caribbean, Mexico, and Spain.

We honor the contributions these communities have made towards social justice throughout the United States and the world over.

The Institute values the tireless contributions the Latinx family therapy community continues to make in the current sociopolitical climate of anti-immigration. Our communities are stronger because of their strength, commitment to our communities and a shared vision of justice.
