Gisselle Acevedo Honored at Women’s eNews 21 Leaders for the 21st Century Gala

Ackerman President & CEO, Gisselle Acevedo was honored at the 19th annual 21 Leaders for the 21st Century awards gala. Each year, this powerful event presented by Women’s eNews recognizes 21 leaders who have helped promote and empower women and girls around the world. This year’s program took place on Monday, May 6th at Club 101 in New York City.

In her role at Ackerman, Gisselle leads the Institute to help further our mission to improve the mental health of families through the dynamic interaction of treatment, training, and research. Appointed in 2018, she is Ackerman’s fifth president, and the first Hispanic woman to lead the organization.
