Sex Therapy Certificate

Post-Masters Program with AASECT Continuing Education Credits

Upcoming 2027 Training Opportunity

Sexual Attitude Reassessment (SAR) Seminar

Ackerman Institute for the Family, an AASECT-Approved Continuing Education Organizational Provider, presents the Sexual Attitude Reassessment (SAR) seminar. The 14-hour SAR is a requirement for certification as an American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT) Certified Sex Educator, Counselor or Therapist.

In the meantime, we invite you to explore our current training opportunities-immersive 14-week programs designed to strengthen the knowledge, perspective, and clinical skills that support effective work with individuals, couples, and families.

Exceptional sex therapy is grounded in more than an understanding of sexuality. It requires a deep appreciation of relationships, family systems, identity, culture, communication, and resilience. Whether you are supporting individuals, couples, or families, these core clinical competencies are essential to providing thoughtful, effective, and relational care.
