Structural Family Therapy is the one major systemic model that developed within settings where the primary client is a child. This workshop presents and illustrates the main concepts and change strategies of the model, and its application in mental health and child welfare settings.

Presenter:
Jorge Colapinto, LMFT, is a structural family therapist, supervisor, trainer, and author, and a consultant to child protection, family preservation, foster care, residential, and home-based programs. A recipient of the Distinguished Contribution To Social Justice Award presented by the American Family Therapy Academy, Jorge is the co-author with Patricia and Salvador Minuchin of Working With Families Of The Poor, as well as the author of numerous articles and book chapters, and an AAMFT Clinical Member and Approved Supervisor.
