This Event is for Ackerman Students ONLY
Module 1: In this workshop we will explore the historical foundations, guiding principles, and core clinical practices of Ackerman’s couple and family therapy model. The training will include an overview of the evolution of systemic and relational family therapy at AIF with attention to concepts such as relational cycles, meaning making, use of self, and contextual understanding of problems within relationships.
The training will be interactive, with an invitation to be on video throughout. We will watch the ARA in action through clinical demonstrations and video examples, and engage in small group discussions and experiential practice to deepen learning and connection.
