Strategies and Interventions for Working with Families and Children with Special Needs: Professional and Parent Perspectives

This workshop will focus on therapeutic interventions that promote meaningful outcomes for families who have children with developmental disabilities (e.g., autism, ADHD, learning disabilities). A new feature this year is a discussion by parents about their emotional journey from sorrow to self-transformation and how professionals can support this process.

Presented by Judy Grossman, DrPH, OTR (Project Director); with Project Faculty: Judi Aronowitz, RN, LCSW; Sara Goldsmith, MS; Elissa Kirtzman, LCSW; and Tracy Ross, LCSW
