Barbara Neal, M.Ed., LMFT, brings with her a unique blend of educational and non-profit leadership experience in addition to her clinical experience as a marriage and family therapist. For twelve years, she taught in traditional public and charter schools and led a non-profit in Newark, NJ. She was also a clinician at a residential treatment facility in Newark where she worked with individuals re-entering society and their families after long prison sentences. Barbara was also previously a fellow of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy in there Now Is The Time: Minority Fellowship Program-Youth (AAMFT-MFP-Y) in 2015.
She currently practices therapy in a private practice in New Jersey that is committed to addressing racial trauma and the mental, emotional, and relational healing of Black people and other people of color.
