Director of Community & International Training
Melissa Tandy (she/her) is the Ackerman Institute’s Director of Community & International Training. Melissa leads the creation of partnerships, trainings, and special events for professionals and families in the communities served by the institute.
Prior to joining Ackerman in 2021, Melissa worked as an accountant in television production. She also has experience in school-based nonprofits and mental health clinic administration. Melissa earned her B.A. in Psychology from Smith College. Melissa is dedicated to applying her organizational skills and passion for mental health to proficiently support the expansion of Ackerman’s national and global partnerships.
