Jen has spent over two decades building and operating businesses in finance and technology. She has held senior investment and operating roles at investment banks, asset managers, and start-ups in New York and London. Most recently, she has focused on strategy for financial services firms, including the adoption of artificial intelligence across their operations. Jen brings a combination of financial expertise and operational leadership, analytical rigor, and intellectual curiosity in service of Ackerman’s mission to transform families through service, training, and innovation. She has a longstanding commitment to philanthropy and to the wellbeing of New Yorkers, and has served on the boards of several Robin Hood Foundation portfolio charities. Jen graduated magna cum laude with a BA with Honors in Physics from Williams College, where she conducted research in quantum information theory and quantum computing. She also attended the Armand Hammer United World College. Jen grew up in Dayton, Ohio, and currently lives in New York City.
